SALMON STRONGHOLD CONSERVATION
iLCP is working with the Wild Salmon Center to produce a short and long film on Salmon Stronghold conservation in the North Pacific.
The short film premiere, small exhibit and Congressional briefing will take place:
iLCP will have an
exhibit at the Ah Haa School For the Arts as part of the Gallery Walk on May 28. On Saturday, May 29,we'll convene a12SHOTS receptionat The Bubble Lounge and Oxygen Bar.
We'll add a twist to it this year, combining 12SHOTS with a karaoke night
hosted by Timmy O'Neill. So start thinking of your song now and don't
forget your 12Shot submission on the theme of 'Extinctions' . We'll
conduct a breakfast talk (hopefully not Sunday morning), and participate in the Reading Frenzy on Sunday, May 30.

iLCP AT BLUE OCEAN FILM FESTIVAL AND CONSERVATION SUMMIT
Monterey
beckons. iLCP will
particpate in the BLUE Festival on panels yet to be named, but one will be on
the subject of photographers
working with NGO's to achieve conservation successes, as was conducted at WILD. There is community outreach
taking place surrounding the event, to benefit local underserved communities.
David Doubilet will keynote, Sylvia Earle, Jean-Michel Cousteau, Fabian
Cousteau, Celine Cousteau, Greg Stone and others will participate as well. We will convene 2 nights of 12SHOTS! Don't forget to submit, theme is 'Oceans'.

for sale, please let us know! We have opportunities for iLCP members to
offer publications both at the Festival, and beginning now at the BLUE Ocean
