WHY FLATHEAD?
This pristine wilderness is threatened by mountain top removal coal
mining, strip mining,
clear cut logging and coalbed methane drilling.
There is a solution!
1. designate a National Park Reserve Wilderness area in the
southeastern one-third of the British Columbia's Flathead Valley
(this will fill in the missing piece of Waterton- Glacier International Peace Park)
2. Create a Southern Rockies Wildlife Management Area connecting
habitat through the Flathead,Wigwam,Elk and Bull River valleys.
3. Permanently stop drilling and mining in the Flathead River Valley.
