The iLCP was established in 2005 with the simple goal of enlisting the skills and expertise of some of the best photographers in the world to advance conservation efforts around the globe. We are a project-driven organization that partners with leading scientists, policy makers, government leaders and conservation groups to produce the highest-quality documentary images of both the beauty and wonder of the natural world and the challenges facing it.

Today, the iLCP is a prestigious Fellowship whose reach has expanded to address the communications challenges of the conservation community at large. With its foundation firmly established in still photography, the iLCP has created and developed a host of communications tools that take advantage of modern means of communication, social networking and more importantly, that provide effective solutions for conservation messaging.

From expeditions to exhibitions, and from multimedia to social media, we focus on understanding the turn key leverage points in a particular issue and using communications tools to create tipping points, convene audiences and move the conservation needle in significant and measurable ways.

Bringing conservation into focus one image at a time.
